We are excited to announce the completion of a significant painting and decorating project at Invicta Lodge, a new build development for our long-standing client, Churchill Retirement Living. This collection of 51 retirement apartments in Broadstairs represents a vital addition to the community, offering a comfortable and secure living option for retirees. Our team faced numerous challenges throughout the project, but our commitment to high standards and timely delivery ensured a successful completion

Project Management and Execution

From the onset, our focus was on seamless project management. We collaborated closely with Churchill Retirement Living to ensure that our work aligned with their vision and the overall timeline of the project. By establishing clear communication channels and regular updates, we maintained transparency and responsiveness, which ultimately led to a harmonious workflow.

Challenges and Solutions

During the project, we encountered several challenges, typical for a new build environment. The especially tight deadlines and last-minute adjustments required a flexible approach. Here are some of the key challenges we faced and the solutions we implemented:

Our skilled painters meticulously prepped the apartment walls and ceilings. We focused on filling, sanding, and caulking all areas, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish. 2. Final Topcoats: After the mist coating, our skilled team rolled out the topcoats onto the apartment walls and ceilings. This process enabled us to achieve even and consistent coverage across each apartment.

3. Woodwork Finishing: The woodwork, including skirting boards, door frames, and windowsills, was meticulously finished by hand using brushes. This ensured precision and allowed us to highlight the craftsmanship that is so important in a retirement community.
